First patients enrolled in SMA-TB CT in South African sites

Big step for SMA-TB project! First patients were enrolled in the CT (https://lnkd.in/dqhDe5n) in South African sites, Matlosana and Soweto. We are so proud of the Perinatal HIV Research Unit (PHRU) team affiliated to the University of the Witwatersrand in SouthAfrica. Also, we just got the approval for Georgia too, so soon the National Center for Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (NCTLD) in Tbilisi will also be able to start recruitment. Thanks to the European Comission for the funding, this is a dream coming true.
